Assessing breathing has become a common assessment tool for my patients. I am sure it seems strange when a person has headaches and I start looking at their stomach. Adequate abdominal breathing rather than chest breathing can be the root cause of shoulder pain, neck pain, headaches, lower back pain, etc.
