Movement Principle # 1

This is one of the principles I go by when I assess my patients. When assessing patients, we assess how they move.  We look for movements that cause pain (a painful dysfunction) and movements that aren’t done well but don’t cause pain (painless dysfunction).  In chronic pain situations, not in acute injuries, treating the painless dysfunction can improve the painful dysfunction.  That’s why you will see me assessing areas that might seem to be remote from your problem but in reality they may be intimately connected.  To read more check out the link below.
