In this day and age we hear of numerous diseases, such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease to name a few, that can be helped by improving our physical health. Our body is meant to be active. It breaks down and weakens if we don’t use it. For good physical health we need to develop cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, power, proprioception (balance) and flexibility. To limit the physical stresses on our body we also need to achieve an ideal body weight. Sadly, many are limited by their physical injuries and need to understand the causes of their injuries and options for care.
